Imitation Cloisonné or Epoxy pins use epoxy colorfill for an econimical production process.

Epoxy, Imitation Cloisonné (Colored Epoxy) was developed in an effort to produce the look and feel of real Cloisonné at a slightly more economical price. As with Cloisonné, the design is stamped into the base metal. Then the recesses are filled by hand with colored epoxy and baked at elevated oven temperatures before being polished by hand. The result is a high-quality product which is nearly indistinguishable from Cloisonné.

Epoxy pins are an economical production alternative which provides the expensive look of Cloisonné while offering a wider variety of color choices and shorter production time of three to four weeks.
